Saturday night at Sapphire Lounge is going to be a dope one for sure. My man Parlay Parris is throwing a FREE event in NYC dubbed “Oven Fresh.” The event was originally scheduled for the previous week, but Hurricane Irene messed that all up, but Parris had a rain date in his pocket for such instances.  The night showcases some incredible acts including performances by the songstress Drea, DJ sets from the man DJ Sly Boogie, Lunatick and Team New Planet, beatboxer Grey Matter, and an open mic cypher set hosted by myself.  I’ll be showing off some new ISHtrumentals for the cypher and once again, it’s FREE! Doors open at 7:15pm.

Check out this beautiful album we put together of Shitty TV Theme Songs for our Asbury Rock Stars charity event this Saturday. We are helping to raise money for the Mercy Center in NJ who do incredible things for people in need. Help support and come out to the softball event in Neptune this Saturday as the Brighton Bombers kill other musicians on the field. Ill be on 2nd base waiting for you. On august 27th, Drea is due to perform at the upcoming Oven Fresh event hosted by my man Parlay Parris at Sapphire Lounge, NYC. Drea will be performing a set with New Planet DJ Sly Boogie, and the man Stan Luke aka LunaStick on drums will be in the building as well. Come out and show some love to some really great artists, plus its a FREE Show!

The “T” album will be officially released on Sept. 15th at the Coffee Cave in Newark, NJ. This is an album I am extremely excited about and proud to be an executive producer on.  The “Talonted Experience” will feature a live performance by Talonted with his band, Dj Sly Boogie on the tables, the ISH Productions, artwork by Serron, Task One, Baja Ukweli, and Jay Wilson.

Just recently I had the opportunity, thanks to good friend and director Erik B, to edit this video for Ugandan artist Maurice Kirya.  The song “Wooye” appears on his album “MISUBBAAWA” and this video will be premiering on MTV Base hopefully very soon.  Special thanks to cast and crew, and anyone else who played a part on this.

Attended the premiere of this movie in NYC a few weeks ago and thought it was really inspiring. Tons of respect to Rik Cordero and Nancy Mitchell for creating such a cool piece. You can check out the official trailer below and more info HERE.

Here it is!! The new music video brought to you by the ISH Productions and Flo Global, “Give Me Some Time” ft. Talonted dropped today on Talonted.com and we are very excited to show it off. This song is a new track (prod. by Frank G)  featured on Talonted’s upcoming album “T,” and is set to be released this summer 2011.  Watch the video and download the song for FREE here. Talonted and Flo Global Productions release “The Talonted Never Lose”. This short film, directed by Erik Brown and Edited by Pixel Mobb is saturated with imagery and a clear message; “One with strong passion cannot be broken down.” The piece also features powerful new music from Frank G and the ISH Productions.

This short film serves as a cinematic visual of one undergoing several challenges, both physical and mental, while in pursuit of one’s passion to achieve something great. The main setting takes place in a dark, grim interrogation room where the main character, Talonted, (playing himself) undergoes different forms of torment by an interrogator, played by Damien Colletti, to break his spirit. But Talonted’s passion keeps him holding on with confidence. At the end of the movie, we see just whether this torment is actual or simply all in the mind of Talonted.

Frank G stops by for a quick visit and chat with friends Rik Cordero and James Watts on the D.I.Y.O.D. (Do It Yourself Or Die) Podcast episode 6. So the other day, I was fortunate enough to direct and shoot my very first video for a song I produced called “Legacy.” The song (available for FREE Download) features ISH Productions artist DREA of Asbury Park NJ, and an ill verse from Yasin of Toe Tag Ent. Definitely enjoyed the process of putting this video together and I am truly looking forward to showing off some of the upcoming projects I have planned with the ISH Productions family of creatives. Hope you all enjoy my directorial debut.
